Digital Literacies and My Identities

 Hello, my name is Haya Fadiyatullah Zuldan from XI-7. In this oppurtinity, i want to share what is in my thought when i heared Digital Literacies and My Identities. Let's get started!

Basically, digital literacies are wide. It can cover a lot of things. But the first thing that appeared in my mind is information.

Information is the result of analyzing and interpreting pieces of data. Where as data is the individual figures, numbers, or graphs, information is the perception of those pieces of knowledge. For example, a set of data could include temperature readings in a location over several years.

Information can be found in so many media platform, you can find it in social media, news, internet, google, and many more! 

So what is the connection between information and personal identities? Well, as you guys already know, information is related to our personal branding. Personal branding is part of your identity. For example, you are a student who always won a lot of science competition and you are known in public that you love to analyze something. Then there you have it. You have personal brandings to informing your identities to others. 

Oh I almost forgot! In digital literacies, we must be wiser in sharing and selecting information. Because if we careless, it can be fatal.

My Idol

DAY6 Hello everyone! How are you? I hope you all are in a good condition and ready to hear story about my idol. So, my idol is a group called Day6! I’ve been a fan of them since when I was in 8th grade. Day6 is a South Korean pop-rock band under the label JYP Entertainment. The group debuted on September 7, 2015. What's unique about Day6 is they are not only skilled at playing instruments, but all the members are also can sing. Isn’t it cool they can do both singing and playing instrument at the same time? Not merely that, all of Day6 songs are written and produced by themselves.  At first, Day6 consisted of 6 members, but unfortunately there’s only 4 members left due to personal reasons.
